Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Neurologist role based in Bengaluru. The Neurologist will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed neurological examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEG, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing clear communication and education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care. The Neurologist will also participate in case discussions, contribute to clinical protocols, and support MediVaah’s mission of accessible and high-quality healthcare.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Medicine and Neurology, with the ability to manage a wide range of neurological disorders.
- Candidates should possess specialized expertise in Epilepsy, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term management of seizure disorders.
- Candidates should possess clinical proficiency in Movement Disorders, including evaluation and management of conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, and tremor.
- Candidates should possess skills in performing and interpreting EEG studies to support accurate neurological diagnoses.
- MD/DNB in Neurology (or equivalent recognized qualification) with valid medical registration.
- Prior clinical experience as a Neurologist in hospital or clinic settings, preferably in urban healthcare environments.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based practice skills, with attention to patient safety and quality of care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and provide empathetic patient-centered care.
- Comfort with using healthcare technology platforms and electronic medical records; willingness to engage with MediVaah’s digital tools.
